Akshay Kumar drops an exciting update on much-awaited Hera Pheri 3; says, “If everything goes well, it will start…”

Superstar Akshay Kumar is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Sky Force with debutant Veer Pahariya. The actor has earlier confirmed his much-awaited film Hera Pheri 3 during the trailer launch of Sky Force.

Now, he has shared an interesting update about the making of the film and has revealed that he might begin it this year. Speaking to Pinkvilla, Akshay Kumar said, “Even I am waiting to start Hera Pheri 3. I don’t know, but if everything goes well, it will start this year.”

He further added, “When we started Hera Pheri, we didn’t know it would go ahead to become such a cult. Even when I saw the film, I didn’t understand. Yes, it was funny, but none of us expected the characters of Babu Bhaiya, Raju, and Shyam to become a cult.”

In the film, Akshay Kumar was Raju, Suniel Shetty was Ghanshyam aka Shyam and the most iconic role of Baburao Ganpatrao Apte aka Babu Bhaiya, as played by the veteran actor Paresh Rawal.
